Barry Prince opened the meeting at 9:00 A.M.

Rick Leach represented Management
Absent: Larry Granet, Director
Rick Leach verified the number of proxies received. There were 216, and all that was needed was 198, so we met our quorum.
Barry Prince asked the audience if there were any nominations from the floor. He repeated the question three times. There were none.
Reading of the Minutes – Mimi Plonsky
Paul Whitney made a motion to accept the Minutes of the January 20, 2010 Annual Meeting as read. Seconded by Feige Brody and passed unanimously.
Robert Dow made a motion to recess until 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Paul Whitney and passed unanimously.

Reading of the Minutes – Mimi Plonsky
Paul Whitney made a motion to accept the Minutes of the January 20, 2010 Annual Meeting. Seconded by Larry Granet and passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report – Joel Brusso
Copy attached.
Feige Brody made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Seconded by Harry Sassower and passed unanimously.
Management/President’s Update – Rick Leach gave the Management Update. Copy attached.
· Barry Prince reported on the expiration of the services of Christopher La Dagana, Owner of the Poolside Café. Barry Prince said that we offered the sum of $10,000.00 to Christopher La Dagana for the equipment and supplies that he had in our café. He accepted the offer and turned his and all other keys over to Barry Prince. Christopher La Dagana then executed a letter of retirement from Banyan Springs, which was drawn up by our attorney.
· Barry Prince then spoke of our new Owner/Operator of the Café, his name is Abe Salama who will be running the operation with his son, David Salama. Abe Salama named the Café “ Norman ’s Café” in memory of his friend Norman Lubow, who was instrumental in acquiring Abe Salama for our premises.
· Abe Salama is the owner of the Essex Deli in Lake Worth also.
· Barry Prince then introduced Abe Salama, who assured us that he will run a clean and efficient café for our enjoyment. He said that he has a suggestion box for our use, and will consider and appreciate suggestions and/or comments from us.

· Sis Robinson reported on the results of today’s elections as follows:

· All of the incumbents, except for Miriam Plonsky, were re-elected.
· Barry Prince greeted the new member of the Board and paid his respects to the retired member.
Larry Granet made a motion to adjourn at 8:51 P.M. Seconded by Paul Whitney and passed unanimously.
